Thai (Nut-Veggie) Burger Wraps or Tacos

I love spicy Thai recipes and this vegan Thai sauce is delicious.  I cooked up one of my favorite burgers and put it in a lettuce wrap with some shaved carrots, sliced red onion and drizzled Thai sauce on top, yummy!

1/4 c liquid aminos or tamari
1/4 c agave
1 garlic clove
1/2 t cayenne pepper
1/2 c water
1/4 c tahini

Place all ingredients in high-speed blender (Vitamix) and blend on high for 30 seconds or until desired consistency.

1 1/2 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw walnuts
1 clove garlic
1/2 t sea salt
1 T ketchup
2 T nutritional yeast
1 T liquid aminos
1/4 t cumin
1/4 t thyme
1/4 t onion powder
1/2 c grated zucchini
1/2 c grated carrot
1 c rolled oats
1/4 c sunflower seeds
1/2 of a jalapeno, finely chopped
1 can black beans

In food processor, combine almonds, walnuts, garlic, and salt.  Blend until finely ground.  Add ketchup, nutritional yeast, liquid aminos, cumin, thyme, onion powder, carrot and zucchini.  Pulse.  Add oats and pulse more until holding together.  Add jalapeno, sunflower seeds and half of the black beans and pulse again.  Remove blade and hand mix in the rest of the black beans.  Form into patties.

Cook burger in pan with a little coconut or olive oil until golden brown.  Crumble into large lettuce leaf and add shaved carrot and sliced red onion.  Drizzle on the Thai sauce, wrap, and enjoy!
