Choffy — Have you tried it yet?


Have you heard of Choffy?  It’s a healthy alternative to drinking coffee.  It’s NOT hot chocolate and is not naturally sweet so it can be sweetened with agave, honey, cinnamon, fresh mint, or other natural sweeteners (although I like it plain).  It is richer and more robust than hot chocolate and unlike coffee, it supplies you with long-lasting energy without the crash and other negative effects of coffee.

-3 carbs
-20 calories
-0 chemicals
-0 dairy

Choffy is ground up cacao beans, just like ground coffee beans, and you use a french press to brew it.  But what’s amazing is how healthy it is 🙂

Choffy is FULL of antioxidants.  There are more antioxidants in an 8oz cup of Choffy than in a serving of blueberries.  It also acts as a super-detoxifier, helping your body rid itself of toxins that tax your system.

Choffy naturally contains a gentle, yet long-lasting stimulant called Theobromine.  This healthy stimulant gives you an energy lift by dilating the cardiovascular system, making the heart’s job easier while delivering energy without a crash like caffeine.  Theobromine also helps improve your blood circulation and even reduce blood pressure while protecting against vascular disease.

Cacao also contains the bliss chemicals phenylethylamine and anandamide that help us feel focused, alert, and overall feel great!  Some people say these chemicals make you feel like you are falling in love.

2 cups walnuts
2 Tablespoons Choffy
1 Tablespoon agave
1 Tablespoon dark unsweetened cocoa powder
15 drops of vanilla
1/4 teaspoon sea salt


Toast the walnuts at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.  Let cool.  Throw all the ingredients into a food processor and blend away.  You may need to scrap it down a few times and keep blending (like making almond butter).


You can spread it on sprouted toast or crackers.  Eat it with some berries or smashed banana on top.  Mix it into a smoothie for a chocolaty treat.  It’s so rich and delicious that you may just eat it out of the jar.

  1. I am not sure I completely understood…does it have caffeine or not? If you don’t live in FL can it be ordered online?

  2. NO – less than 1/11 th of the caffeine as coffee – so it is basically caffeine free! And I sell it in a retail centre –
