Homemade Granola

Can you say crunchy yumalicious?  This is my homemade granola experiment inspired by a friend (thanks Lisa).

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup flax meal
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1/4 cup goji berries
10 pitted chopped dates
2 apples diced into small pieces
2 bananas cut into small pieces
2-3 Tablespoons cinnamon
1/3 cup agave

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl and then spread on dehydrator tray.  Some people use cheese cloth or a special screen you can buy for the dehydrator but I just spread it right on the tray.  Dehydrate for 1 whole day and then break it into chunky pieces.  Store in air tight container.  you can eat it like trail mix or in a bowl with almond milk like cereal.  Just eat it as a snack or sprinkle some on your salad.  It really is crunchalicious!  I am going to add some blueberries and raspberries next time 🙂
