Here is a great way to get raw veggies into your diet with a dip that is healthy and delicious. So throw away the dips made with sugar, “bad” fats, dairy, and chemicals and come on over to the raw side.
1/3 cup raw pine nuts
1/3 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/3 cup raw pumpkin seeds
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 red bell pepper, stemmed and seeded
1-2 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Place all ingredients into a Vitamix or food processor and blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached. Transfer to a container and refrigerate. It’s that simple!
You can also use it to replace mayonnaise or other spreads on wraps and sandwiches. Here is a picture of a sandwich I made with some of the dip.
Sprouted grain and seed bread, nut cheeze spread, organic baby spinach leaves, tomato, avocado, and crunchy lentil sprouts……Mmmmm good!
