Chia breakfast cereal

Ingredients

2 – 4 Tablespoons Chia seeds (revered by the early Aztec and Mayan cultures, chia seeds are a superfood packed with fiber, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants)

Enough almond milk to cover the seeds (almond milk has 50% more calcium, less sugar, less calories, less cholesterol and more Vit E than fat free dairy milk)

Wild organic blueberries (Natures #1 Antioxidant fruit with more antioxidants than apples, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, prunes, strawberries, cherries and cultivated blueberries)

All natural, raw, almonds and walnuts

Almonds

The good: This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Riboflavin, Magnesium and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin E.  They help to lower bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol

Walnuts

The good: This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Copper, Iron, Vit E and a very good source of Manganese.  Excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids

Directions

Simply put the Chia seeds in a bowl and add the almond milk.  Stir and let sit 5 to 10 minutes.  Add blueberries and nuts and enjoy.

You can add other fruit, nuts, seeds or superfoods if you like….mix it up and give it a try.  You also may need to adjust the amount of liquid to reach the desired texture and consistency of the mixture.
